An interesting and experimental blend of electronica and alternative, R.E.M. fuses organic sounds (each track has a hidden, virtually inaudible recording of some type of sound that correlates with the track title; i.e. “Traffic” features beeping at rush hour) with numerous loops scavenged from the world wide web.
